LA Philharmonic 2010/11 Campaign – Share the Passion

After a successful 2009/10 campaign, Guftagu was again awarded the opportunity to develop the outdoor and print campaign creative for the LA Phil’s 2010/11 season – also Gustavo Dudamel’s second year as their famed Music Director.

The look is an evolution of the previous year’s campaign, and symbolically communicates Dudamel’s interaction with both the orchestra and community by ‘breaking out’ of curved shapes that mimic the curves of the renowned Walt Disney Concert Hall. The energy of Dudamel is captured through the combination of bold imagery of the maestro himself and bright, glowing integration of type and color.

We applied this look and feel across mediums including billboards, light pole banners, bus wraps, transit shelters, signage, as well as multimedia and a variety of printed collateral.
