Infrastructure Academy
Infrastructure Academy is a non-profit organization and initiative of the mayor of Los Angeles whose mission is to prepare at-risk youth to enter the Civil Infrastructure field and place them into careers. Guftagu Creative designed the logo, brand identity, recruitment brochure and website for this innovative non-profit.
The brand is based on the pipeline concept, both literally (related to the utilities industry) and figuratively (as a ‘pipeline’ or direct pathway toward a promising future in these professions). The logo was developed to communicate the unique business and social model of the Infrastructure Academy to the corporate and fundraising community.
In the design of the brochure and website, we incorporated graphic elements that evoke feelings of energy, movement, and the environment –relating back to characteristics of the utilities industry.
